Need to change the Access request email setting on an unknown subset of 170 sub sites on one site collection, one subsite and everything below it.

Basic idea, some # of the sub sites in the attached list suddenly have with unexpected email address listed as the contact, but the actual contact should be xxx@keyman .com Note: Need to do it for 170 subsites

The first script.
$webapp = Get-SPWebApplication https://sharepoint.contoso.com change to your application
$requestemail = "******@demo.com" change to your address
The script will find sites and subsites in your application. Some subsites will display yellow to indicate the permissions inherited from the parent site, while green indicates that the subsite with unique permissions has been successfully modified.

No need, the second script is used to retrieve specific users.

One more Doubt, I can see "Access Request settings" only at site collection level settings, not at subsite permission level settings.
I am not clear on how it updates at sub site level?

I think what you see should be like this:
This means that the permissions of your subsite are inherited from the parent site. If you set unique permissions for a subsite, you can see the Access Request settings of the subsite.
