WSUS server name in GPO

Question

Hi,
When creating new GPO for clients to connect right WSUS server, should I Set the intranet statistics server as (or do both work)?

http://server01.domain.com:8530
or
http://server01:8530

Our WSUS version is 10.0.17763.1 and it is running Windows Server 2019 (if it matters.)

Hi @Bombbe

If you joined WSUS server to domain controller then you should provide http://fqdn:8530 or If WSUS is not in domain joined then you can give http://servername:8530 or http://ipaddress:8530
