Not able to update Application Gateway frontEndIP configuration using Azure CLI

Hi All,

I was following below link to update public frontend P configuration for my application gateway.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cli/azure/network/application-gateway/http-settings?view=azure-cli-latest#az_network_application_gateway_http_settings_update

But it is not working, need help please..

anonymous userbhardwaj , are you trying to update HTTP settings or frontend IP? If you are looking to update frontend IP the follow these instructions in the doc,

If you are still facing issues with any of the configuration settings, then please do post the complete error message for providing better insights.

the one you have provided updates private and this is for public IP...
Below is the error I'm getting

PublicIPAddress property of FrontendIpConfiguration /XXXX...appGwPublicFrontendIp cannot be changed.

looks like we cannot change this directly, assuming it is associated with other inter-linked resources.

anonymous userbhardwaj, looks like the commands for updating the frontend config got depreciated. Will revert with available options to update the config.

Ok thanks, I tried manually deleting from azure portal also, but it didn't allow. I added one private configuration (assuming one configuration is must for gateway) also but no luck.
