Hi and thanks for reaching out. My name is William. I'm a Windows technical expert. I'll be happy to help you out today.

Are you using any Adobe programs, like Photoshop or Acrobat? If so, this is often caused by the Adobe Creative Cloud component of these programs. Try to fix by running the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cl...

If that does not fix, it may be necessary to repair/reinstall the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables. This can be done by opening appwiz.cpl > selecting the various Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables 20xx > select Change > Repair. To reinstall, select Uninstall. You can reinstall the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables from https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/297700.... It may be necessary to refer to product documentation to see which versions of the Redistributables to install.

This is due to poor software quality from Adobe. Adobe products are becoming more and more like malware.

Go to "Startup Apps" by searching for "Startup" in search box.

Once in "Startup Apps", turn off any Adobe program that is currently turned on. In my case it was disguised as CCXProcess.exe.

    That's it.
