Blue screen crash Code 133

I have a custom built pc, my specs are 32 gb g.skill 3000 mhz ram, xmp profile set, 3600 non x no overclock, 5700 non xt non overclocked flashed to xt bios (0 issues up to the last 3 days), and 3 drives 2 sabrents (nvme gen 4/3) and a HDD

The issues I have been seeing have been confusing me, I usually haven't had many issues outside of initial graphic card driver issues back when I first got my GPU as the 5700 had quite the few issues, my windows will randomly crash sometimes doing random things, I was downloading Destiny 2 to my E drive during the crash but my windows is located on C not sure if that could of been somewhat a cause of the issue..

I am just trying to figure out whats going on because usually im quite tech savvy and able to figure this out myself but however ive found myself quite stuck the last few days trying to figure it out, I have ddu'd and reinstalled all my current drivers as a first step, I ran checks on my storage they all seem fine, I am now waiting to do a memtest and also do a fresh reinstall of windows. All these issues have started mainly since I updated to a recent patch of windows, unsure which patch specifically as there's been a few since then, but one within the last 2 weeks, wondering if I should try going down a patch? as the blue screen with code 133 was a one time thing that only happened today, normally its just windows having weird issues, like my keyboard was having weird conflicts after a windows update, along with windows explorer sometimes freezing or having to be restart to do anything

Problem Event Name: BlueScreen

Locale ID: 4105

I have not gotten around to do a memory dump yet, but that is also what im doing next and will post that here, for now just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions for me to try or what could possibly be the issue

Thank you for reading/taking time to help :)

Thanks for the reply~! I ended up checking and my dumps are all turned off from previous setting changes, however I have run a memory check and check on my storage all seems fine, reinstalled windows and there has not been an issue yet, I presume it was something to do with an update being faulty to some degree or corrupt windows file, still do not understand if that would blue screen like it did but it seems to have fixed it for now

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

    • Are you aware of any changes on the PC prior to this issue?
    • Did you come across any blue screen of death with any stop code error?

However, if you are getting a blue screen then to analyze the root cause of the crash and to find the faulty module, we need the dump files. You can locate the dump files in the location C:\Windows\MiniDump, then upload them on OneDrive and share the link with us.

Meanwhile, we would suggest you to perform these methods and check.

    Method 1: Disconnect Devices

We would suggest you to disconnect all external hardware devices connected to the PC.

Method 2: Run Memory Diagnostic Tool.

    1.     Press Windows key or click on Start Menu and type Memory Diagnostic.

    2.     Select Windows Memory Diagnostics and click on Restart now and check for problems.

    3.     Follow the on-screen instructions.

    Method 3: Safe mode

Try booting your PC in safe mode. Refer to the article on how to Start your PC in safe mode in Windows 10

Safe mode starts Windows in a basic state, using a limited set of files and drivers. If a problem doesn't happen in safe mode, this means that default settings and basic device drivers aren't causing the issue. Observing Windows in safe mode enables you to narrow down the source of a problem, and can help you troubleshoot problems on your PC.

Method 4: Perform software clean boot

If the issue persists, then try booting your PC in clean boot. Refer to the article on How to perform a clean boot in Windows

If performing a clean boot fixes the issue then, please refer to the section How to determine what is causing the problem after you do a clean bootto check which program is causing the issue.

**Note:**Clean Boot starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs, so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program. Also, you may not be able to use some programs in clean boot.

Note: Please refer the section Reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshootingto boot the computer in to normal mode after troubleshooting.

Let us know the results. If the issue persists, we will certainly assist you further.
