Hi Michael,
I'm Benedict, an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you.
I'm sorry to hear that, I'm here to help and work with you on this issue.
Please run System File Checker by doing the following steps:
- Open Command Prompt as an administrator, very often referred to as an "elevated" Command Prompt.
- Type the command below and then press Enter.
sfc /scannow
Note: sfc /scannow will inspect all of the important Windows files on your computer, including Windows DLL files. If System File Checker finds a problem with any of these protected files, it will replace it.
- Restart your computer.
Please let me know if this resolves the issue.
Best Regards,
Benedict P.
