Screenshots Folder Accidentally Deleted

I accidentally deleted my screenshots folder and trashed it completely by accident. How do I create a new screenshots folder? I've tried making a new normal folder and naming it Screenshots, but my screenshots aren't showing up on it so I'm assuming it didn't work.

    Hi Andrew

    I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this . . .

    Click your Start Button, type regedit and hit Enter to open the Registry Editor

    Click View and make sure 'Address Bar' is turned on

    Paste this into the Address Bar at the top and hit Enter

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders

    In the right hand pane is there a key with this name: {B7BEDE81-DF94-4682-A7D8-57A52620B86F}

    If so, double click that key,what is the value data of that key and does that match exactly the location of the folder you created?

    Are your screenshots being captured? When I capture a scfeenshot with <WinKey>+<PrtSc>, the file appears at the top of Recent files in Quick Access. RIght-click to open the file location.

    If you click in the Address bar of Explorer & type:

    shell:screenshots

    Do you get an error or does a folder open?

    How are you taking Screenshots?

    WinKey+PrtSc captures screenshots to the shell:Screenshots folder, which is usulally created as a sub-folder the Pictures folder. So if you get an error from shell:screenshots, open:

    shell:my pictures

    and create a Screenshots folder there.
