    Hi,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft MECM Q&A forum.

1, It seems that the client could not get the MPs and DPs. Please help your boundaries and boundary groups configurations, add your MPs and DPs to your boundary groups. Also help check your MP and DP configurations.

2, Please help make sure that there is no firewall or anti-virus to stop the communication between the client and the MPs. Use the following URL to verify that a client can access the management point and the management point certificate information:
    http(s)://<ServerName>/sms_mp/.sms_aut?mplist
    http(s)://<ServerName>/sms_mp/.sms_aut?mpcert
Where <ServerName> is the NetBIOS/FQDN for the management point computer.

    Thanks for your time.

MPList and MPcerts we are able to access and no logs found in AV. AV and firewall are fine.

We added our MP SRV record which was missing and still no luck.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

Received a proxy error(0x2efd), recycling the request object and will try another proxy type, if available.
    DownloadFileByWinHTTP failed with a non-recoverable failure, 0x80004005

The error 0x2efd means "A connection with the server could not be established", and the client upgrade failed due download file failed. Please help check the ccm.log on the site server to see if there is any further information.

Please also make sure at least one Client Push Installation account must be defined in the Accounts tab of the Client Push Installation Properties dialog box. And this account must be a member of the local Administrators group. As shown below:

For more information, please refer to: Troubleshooting SCCM ..Part I (Client Push Installation )

Hope it helps. Thanks for your time.

    Best regards,
    Simon

We had enabled ccmsetup.exe exception to run on our AV but the upgrade was happening from the child level folder like, c:\WIndows\ccmsetup\ccmsetup.exe /upgrade/packageID ........ We added exception and started working
