Combining AWS and AMS(DRM) for Encryption

Hi,

Is it possible to apply AMS DRM protection when placing video files in AWS S3 and encoding them with MediaConvert?

Do I need to store my media content in Azure Media Service to apply AMS DRM protection?

    Sorry, no that scenario is not supported today. In the AMS v3 API, the content needs to be hosted in an AMS asset on Azure Blob storage in order for the dynamic encryption features of the packager (Streaming Endpoint) to encrypt that content.

    We do not support using the Content protection features with content hosted outside of AMS.
