Hey,

I was doing some experiments with windows and I accidentally jumped into safe boot mode.

Now its asking for password, which I don't remember (because I used to sign in using my PIN or fingerprint).

After that I read various discussion on this topic from internet and tried everything, including bcdedit command, but its not working for me.

I'm stuck and bit scared about formatting everything and installing windows again.

Anyone PLEASE HELP !!

    Hello VishnuKashyap1,

    Try this method

1.Boot your computer from Windows installation disc and press any key when prompted.

2.If your computer still boots into Safe Mode, you need to enter into BIOS and change the boot sequence     to CD/DVD first.

3.When you see Windows Setup, press the Shift + F10 keys to open a Command Prompt

4.Type the following command and press Enter to turn off Safe Mode:

    bcdedit /deletevalue {default} safeboot

5.When it’s done, close the Command Prompt and exit Windows Setup.

6.Reboot without installation disc, and your computer should boot in normal mode by default. This method works with Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7 and Vista.

    Hope this helps.

and do let me know if it solved your problem.

    Regards,

    Rakshan
