Externally Sharing SharePoint Document Library document file link should not be searchable by search engine like google. Is this doable ?

Hi @SGH ,

How do you set the link, you could choose the people the link works for:

Please check people with existing permissions, then the authorized users you set can access this link and unauthenticated users cannot.

The option selected is any one with the link can view. The link cannot be set to authenticated users because it is for public. However, this link should not be indexed by the search engine like google or bing etc. Is there any option available ?

When you set this link to anyone with the link, then this link is public and not under the control of SharePoint. I understand that you may find it inconvenient to share the link with many external users, however I might have to say that there is currently no such option available, you could only try not to expose this link in a place that can be viewed publicly.

For example, Some CMS Application has option for controlling Search Engine Page indexing. Is it available for SharePoint Online ?

Per my understanding, the point is how to use the link. If it is only used in the mail, it should be ok, however if users expose it in a public place, then this is not under control. Or I would suggest you consider using a password to protect this kind of links:
