I recommend creating a restore point before proceeding with the procedure.

- Open this key path in Registry Editor: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GameDVR
Double click on the AppCaptureEnabled DWORD and open Edit DWORD.
Edit DWORD Delete the 1 in the value data frame and replace it with a 0.
- Click the OK button and exit Edit DWORD.
Open this key path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\GameConfigStore
Disable Game DVR Double-click the GameDVR_Enabled DWORD.
Clear the current value and enter 0 in the Value data box.
- Select the OK option to confirm.
Restart the computer.
You can uninstall Game Bar for deactivation.
- Open Windows Terminal (Admin), and select Windows PowerShell.
2 Copy and paste the command below into Windows Terminal (Admin), and press Enter.
Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers -PackageTypeFilter Bundle -Name "*Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay*" | Remove-AppxPackage -AllUsers
3 When finished, you can close Windows Terminal if you like.
