hello. i need help. ive just download a game from oceanofgames. and the instruction including disable the setting in 'virus & threat protection' from windows security. another instruction is to extract 3 winrar files and one of them including disable the security. so ive done disabling manually and extracting the file. ive decided to discontinue the installing process of the game cause the installation didnt work. and i found out that my window security becomes blank with a message of "Page not available Your IT administrator has limited access to some areas of this app, and the item you tried to access is not available. Contact IT helpdesk for more information". ive also delete the files of the game and uninstalled some of microsoft visual c++ from the extraction. or maybe i uninstalled the wrong one i dont know. i dont know how to reverse the damage. please help me

Cracked games are usually wrapped with malware and can cause a ransomware attack, that is why they ask you to disable Defender, you should never do that.

Download this file:

Then right click that file and select 'Run as Administrator'.

When that completes, restart (not shut down) your PC and then check if Windows Security is working correctly.

If not, your best option is to either reset or clean install Windows to ensure your system is malware free.

Your PC will boot into the Windows Recovery Environment

Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Options - Reset this PC

Choose to keep your files and apps, just your files or to keep nothing

Then start the Reset
