Keyboard keys messed up

Question

yesterday i was playing a game on my laptop and my keys ''g'' and ''h'' weren't working at all but later they started typing again so i just assumed it was just because of the game but today when i press said keys they either get typed in 2-3x times even tho i press them just once or dont show up at all when pressed is there something i can do? i havent dont anything to these keys and they just stared messing up

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Open Command Prompt, then run this command and press Enter:

msdt.exe -id KeyboardDiagnostic

Run that Keyboard Troubleshooter to see if that can solve the problem.

If that does not resolve this for you

Open Device Manager

Expand the Keyboards section

Right click your keyboard and choose 'Uninstall'

Then restart your PC

i tried both but the issue did not get fixed is there anything else i can do?

Connect another external keyboard to your system, is that working correctly?

Bring up the on screen keyboard, is that working correctly?

If both of those are working correctly, you will need to replace your keyboard, there is a fault on it.

i played the game that i started experiencing the issues with and it seems like my keyboard came back to normal and they keys are now working again
