Backup and Restore Sqlite database to google drive

I have read some articles to backup and restore the sqlite db in xamarin forms to google drive with the help of google developer account and i have to use api key for that. I am not able to understand that if i deploy my app to the playstore and if the user want to use his email id then how it will be possible to backup the database to his google drive account without an api key. I have read lots of articles but not able to understand .I request any expert has done same thing then kinldy share me some article for same.

Hi, PrashantSharma. Do you mean the api key in the AndroidManifest.xml? The key is about your app, it doesn't require the user to provide an api key. To use the google drive, the user needs to login in his account to perform the storage. You could refer to the function code from the following links:

Artemiy Moroz 271 Reputation points2021-04-28T16:25:10.927+00:00 hi there! I would suggest you use .NET library for google drive. It can be used in any .NET environment: see sample here. Basically you will need to register your app in dashboard and take APPLICATION API KEY. Then you request user consent once and save confirmation token in your app storage to access actual user files.
