I'm sorry for that. Although you may still use your drive after fixing the bad sectors, I cannot assure you of how long the drive would last. I cannot recommend that the drive is still safe for storing valuable data. Since you have a lot of bad sectors, it is advisable and highly recommended that you should replace your drive with a new one.
I got problems cannot install application, installed apps cannot launched/opened and it always checkdisk when i turn on windows ?
#Windows10
I've been having problems with my windows laptop for weeks now.
- Always asking to "check disk", when booting it says "if you want to skip disk checking press any key". in these few weeks I sometimes skip it, but last night I decided to check the disk and fix it to C: until it was "100% complete", but today I turned on the laptop, there is still writing like that "if you want to skip disk checking press any key" (disk checking)
- can't install/reinstall applications like discord and postman.
as in the picture I included, the writing is only installation has failed. It's also been a week looking for a solution, delete this, clear some things, still can't do it, the error continues, install via ms store is also an error.
until the furthest internet solution I did was, use MediaCreationTool22H2.exe, upgrading my pc seems to be reinstalling windows 10 / updating windows 10 using this application, but unfortunately the results also failed not finished he said "undoing changes etc."
when the boot is complete the error says "The Installation Failed in the Safe_OS Phase Apply_image"
- even some installed applications can be opened now can't be opened, for example like chrome, notion, postman (crashes when running 1 request even light ones).
Is there any indication 1a. bad sector, 2b. OS Damaged so that this kind of error can occur
hopefully someone knows the solution.
thanks in advance
i've been following this tutorial for cannot install discord and postman : [FIXED] Discord Installation Has Failed Issue on Windows 10/11 — Auslogics Blog [step fix 1 until fix 6 also not solved my problems]

2024-01-04T03:00:41+00:00 Hi Ruds_PG, I hope your doing well despite the problem you are experiencing now and I'm sorry for that. For that let me try to assist you.
What we can do here is check first the health of your drive. There might be an indication that the drive is failing. If your Windows is working, please do open your command prompt as administrator
Go to searchbar and type CMD and from the menu, select open as administrator
In the command prompt, move to the drive where you need to use chkdsk, If it is your current Windows drive. then you don't need to change drive you will see that your are at drive c: But if you inserted it to another Windows OS, then you need to identify the drive letter. and change the drive by typing the letter of the drive followed by a colon at the end of the letter. Example d:
Run the command below after the drive
chkdsk /f /r
This will take a while and will do repair and fixes when a problem is found. After the chkdsk, a report shall be provided to see if errors were found and fixed.
