The standard user as I am the admin on the computer has open command, prompt and activated, default admin and made themselves that I want it undone. She’s also changed her password so I can’t even activate it we’re going to her account yet she’s still a standard user, and I’m still an administrator. Heard someone hacked my computer, although I can’t fathom why they would hack mine because I’m not of any importance. an HP pavilion with windows 11 and an iPhone 14 max Pro. I had McCafee Internet, security, your computer protection on the computer and all my devices, including the iPhone. The iPhone recently went crazy and I had to delete McHaffie in order for everything to go back to normal so crazy that I couldn’t do anything on my phone except make calls receive calls and the same with text messages. The computer directly from HP and I have already spoken to their HP support and they directed me to you.

I did all of these things I even went to command prompt and deactivated the default administrator in the command prompt menu. And still it says that she is the default admin profile and I’m a standard user profile but when you go to the user settings, it says that I’m the admin and she’s a standard user.

    Hi, RobNeiII

    Welcome to the MicroSoft Community.

I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’re experiencing. In this case, it would be best to follow these steps:

    • Change Your Password: The first step is to change your administrator password. Press Ctrl + Alt + Del and select Change a password. You will be asked to input the old password and then enter a new one.
    • Remove Admin Rights: Log into your administrator account, then open Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Change account type. Select the account that you want to modify, then select Standard user and save the changes.
    • Scan for Malware: It’s possible that your device may have been infected with malware. Use another antivirus program to scan your computer. There are many reputable antivirus programs you can use; some popular ones include Avast, Bitdefender, or even Microsoft’s built-in Windows Defender.
    • Update Software: Ensure that your operating system and all software (including antivirus software) are up-to-date. Outdated software may have vulnerabilities that hackers can exploit.
    • Check for Unusual Activity: Look for any unfamiliar applications or processes running on your computer, or any unfamiliar accounts in the User Accounts settings.
    • Two-Factor Authentication: If available, use two-factor authentication for your accounts. This adds an extra layer of security. Regarding your iPhone, it might be worth resetting it to factory settings and then restoring your data from a backup. Make sure to first back up any important data you have on the phone. If there is anything not clear or I can't understand your problem, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Best Regards
