Android emulator won't start in latest MacOS Big Sur (11.3)

For me it wouldn't start. If you check there is a qemu process, but no window appears. I did some searching and found a reddit thread that pointed to this page. That worked perfectly for me. One note, the path to the emulator for me was: ~/Library/Developer/Xamarin/android-sdk-macosx/emulator/qemu/darwin-x86_64/qemu-system-x86_64.
