RDWeb Opening App Fails

New RDS deployment
Servers for :
RDS Host
RDS Gateway
RDS Broker
RDS Web
RDS Licensing

Good news - I can RDP via the gateway to the RDP desktop fine from both inside and outside the network. All SSLs are in place and working well

When I https into the RDWeb both internally and externally, I can see the 3 published apps
When I try to open the app, I get :

Access Local Resources - I click Allow
Connecting and Launching "Word"

Oops, we couldn't connect to "Word"
We couldn't connect to the remote PC

Not sure what's not configured here

    Hello @Steve Babcock

    1.Do you mean both remoteapp and full desktop session cannot be accessed?
    2.Where's your remoteapp published from , C: or D: drive?
    3.Have you tried publish a new Remoteapp and login as the same user ?

    4.Login as admin or a different user account , and see if the issue persist？
    5.Check the properties of the remoteapp and see the user assignment:

    We did a complete re-install and got most things working

    However, we still ended up with 2 problems

    On the old version of RDweb, all our applications open minimized and only show as an icon on the taskbar
    On the new HTML5 version of RDweb, we're not able to have the local Default printer show as a printer although regular RDP sessions pass the printer through just fine

    For now we're using full RDP sessions until we can get the web parts working
