Hello, So windows security tells me I have something I need to look at. I look at it and tell it to remove it but it doesn't do anything. the file path leads to the recycle bin but the recycle bin is empty. I copy and pasted the file path into file explorer and it pulled up a window to restore the file and said that the file was taking up 0 bytes. I've restarted the computer multiple times, but it hasn't fixed.
a few hours ago I opened the storage cleanup thing in settings and it was running to delete some windows upgrade files as well as empty the recycle. I emptied the recycle manually while the process was running, this could have caused it but I'm unsure. I just want the message to go away, because it worries me that it's there.
the file is App:Poweriso_BundleInstaller

after looking further into my problem, it says it has affected an file in the recycle, which I had mistaked for the app itself. windows says the app is still active, but when i searched for it in settings to uninstall it, it isn't there
Hi KylerEvans-
I'm Kevin B. Independent advisor and a Windows user like you. I do apologize for the confusion about your security but let me help you sort things out.
I do understand the situation and your confusion where you coming from, but if the files shows that's 0 bytes, there's nothing to be afraid of.
Sometimes, Windows security found a programs that needs to be remove but technically there is nothing to remove and the path will leads you to nowhere.
If you want to make sure kindly run disk cleanup on your system to free all the space or remove the temp files as well on your computer.
Kindly refer on this link to run disk cleanup.
