SQL Software Installation

I am trying to assist one of my users - needs SQL software installed on his computer but getting the following error:

"This installation package is not supported by this processor type".

Here is the name of the installer I was given to disseminate to our users:  sql_ssms_loc  Not sure if this means anything to you.

    Hi Daniel

    You have a 64bit PC, that supports both 64bit and 32bit software, what SQL software are you trying to install on that system, you do not mention that in your post?

    sql_ssms_loc seems to be related to SQL Server, but I need more details on what they are trying to install . . .
