Wifi network connection range problem

My laptop was working just fine till yesterday. Suddenly, I lost the connectivity to my wifi from my office desk in my room and had to come and sit near the router in order to get the connectivity back. The connection weakens with every step I move away from the router and becomes zero after a certain distance. Working from near the router is not comfortable and I have tried ALL THE METHODS ON THE INTERNET AND COULD NOT SOLVE IT. It is so frustrating. The connection is fine on all the other devices in all the rooms except my laptop.

    Hi KalyaniBalaji,

first of all try to move / turn the router or reposition the antennas.

Otherwise access the router> wireless settings and try to change the radio channel. If you use the 2.4 GHz band, try channels 1, 6 or 11 if you use the 5 GHz band, set the channels 48, 149 or 161

Hi! My name is Anderson Souza. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you, I'll be glad to help you today.

If you tried all the methods on the internet so it maybe is a hardware problem. The antenna cable connected to your internal wifi adapter may be disconnected or broken, but you will have to open your notebook to check this. You can try a USB wifi device or even replace the internal device or antenna cables.
