I would run System Restore (rstrui.exe) in order to set Windows back to a point prior to the infection.
Windows Script Host Error: Invalid root in registry key
It was brought to my attention that my computer may have been compromised through an email attachment I received from a contact yesterday. I wasn't having any issues with my computer but to be proactive I ran a scan using Malwarebytes. The scan detected one item (Trojan.Valak.E / Type: Malware / Object type: Registry Key) which I put into quarantine. After doing that, I started receiving a Windows Script Host Error: Invalid root in registry key. The error just keeps popping up on my screen about every two minutes. Since both of these indicate a registry key, I'm sure they must be related. Also, I'm not sure if it is related, but I keep getting a notification from Malwarebytes that a website is blocked due to riskware (Domain: glassyradua.xyz). What does this error mean? Is my computer and personal information at risk? How can I remove and/or fix this error? Please, any help is greatly appreciated.

2020-06-05T00:34:59+00:00 Hi Frederik, thank you for helping! The system restore seemed to have worked and I am no longer getting the error. However, I now have a new issue where I am unable to access the internet. Any thoughts on what I can do to correct this?
