Hi Daniel
1
Try re-installing the application that is causing the error to be thrown on the C++ Runtime
2
If that does not resolve this:
Please post a screenshot of that error popup you are seeing
What application is throwing this error

Hi Daniel
On Community, we are just users like yourself, we are not Microsoft Employees . . .
If you have resolved that issue by a system restore, that is great, and no need to contact Sage perhaps it was one of those Windows updates that caused this problem, if you are experiencing difficulty with Microsoft Office, try performing a full online repair of that . . .
Follow these steps to perform a full repair of your Office installation . . .
Open Control Panel - Programs and Features
Click Microsoft Office in the list of installed applications
At the top, click 'Change'
On the resulting dialog, click 'Repair' - choose the Online Repair, it is a comprehensive fix
That should fix any issues with your Office Installation . . .
Thanks Dave
Managed to resolve the issue by system restore, now the only problem is my Microsoft Office is not launching.
do you still suggest i contact Sage, or Microsoft will finally put hands up rather than kicking clients post to post.
Hi Daniel
Please see the proposed solutions posted on the Sage website for that error on Sage 50, see the Resolutions section . . .
https://support.na.sage.com/selfservice/viewCon...
If that does not resolve this, click the link below, on that page is a multi-installer for the Visual C++ 2015, 2017 and 2019 redistributables, you must download and install the x86 and x64 versions, do not try to install the ARM64 version:
Then Restart (not shut down) your PC . . .
