I initially made my account from my home country (BG), but since have moved to the UK for 5 years now and would like to use Azure, but when I try and create a subscription I can't change the country on the payment and all the old questions provide dead links for the support pages. In addition since I don't have an active subscription I can't submit a billing support ticket, since I don't have any biling.

    Hi,

    Something here might help:

    Update your country/region

Because of technical constraints, we can't change the country/region for an existing account. But you can create an account in the desired country/region and then contact Azure support to migrate your services to that account.

    Reference:
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/manage/change-azure-account-profile#update-your-countryregion

    Best regards,
    Leon

Hey, I managed to do it eventually, but I had to get rid of all subscriptions first (you can transfer them to another owner).

When I had no subscription I removed my default tenant in Microsoft Entra ID.
I signed out from the portal and registered once again to Azure. This time I used a correct country.

at this point you can either transfer your subscriptions back to the new account or just start with a brand new one.
