Hi all,

I have an Azure Plan migration project.
The Azure subscription is still legacy managed by a Partner A in the CSP channel.
We will migrate the legacy subscription to an Azure Plan.

This subscription will be managed by another Partner B.
We plan to follow that process in the Partner Center : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/transfer-azure-subscriptions-under-azure-plan

Third-party marketplace products will transfer if the products pass the Marketplace eligibility check.

  • There are no special discounts or regional restrictions
  • The products are non-subscription based
  • The future partner should work with the publisher to make sure they are on the allow-list for deployment of the product
  • If not all these conditions are met to transfer the Marketplace products should be canceled, the Azure subscriptions transferred, and then repurchase of Marketplace products with the new partner

My question is about SendGrid transfer itself.
I tried to find some information about that, but nothing is available.

Do you have any experience or information about it ?

Thank you,

    Hello @Jean-Loup Orgitello ,

From reviewing the publicized list of resources that Azure supports for migration across subscriptions, SendGrid is not on the list.
Also found this open feature request for migration support for SendGrid. I would recommend upvoting this request to get more visibility to the Feature owners.

You may need to recreate the SendGrid service in the target subscription. Also not a bad idea to check in with SendGrid support for guidance.

Hope this helps and have a nice weekend.

    cheers.

    Hello @olufemia-MSFT

    Thank for your reply.
    Voted ;)

In my case I will not use the migration across subscriptions service.
I will use the "Transfer a customer's Azure plan subscriptions to a different partner", linked here

The subscription will still but they also said "Third-party marketplace products will transfer if the products pass the Marketplace eligibility check."

You are right, I am also waiting the SendGrid support's answer

    Have a nice weekend too.

    hello @Jean-Loup Orgitello

I would really appreciate your help, I would like to know it is possible to move our Azure Sendgrid to another subscription in Azure, either on the current contract or if possible on the new CSP that our company has been signed.

Microsoft and Sendgrid tell us that we have to recreate the resource again. That is why I would like to know if you have finally been able to do it because I have not understood you.

Any help would be greatly appreciate,

    Thanks
