Application Error

i restarted my laptop for smoother use, but when i opened a game somethin' popped out saying Error on loading Winsock2 library (WS2_32.DLL): A system call has failed. i restart again but still the same, is there any easy way to fix this? i can't even open other apps like steam or Dota2

    Type CMD in the Search box, run as administrator.

    At the command prompt, copy-paste the following command:

    sfc /scannow

    Close the window.

    Check if the issue still persists.

    Then you can proceed with the next fix if it doesn't resolve the issue.

    Please try the following methods and see if it helps:

    1. Run a system file checker to repair or missing corrupted files.

    Type CMD in the Search box, run as administrator.

    At the command prompt, copy-paste the following command:

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    After you see a message that says "The operation completed successfully,". Copy-paste the following command:

    sfc /scannow

    Close the window.

    1. Install all Windows Updates.

    Click Start>Settings>Sytem and Security>Windows Update>Check for Updates.

    Install all the required updates and restart your PC if required.

    1. Perform a system restore
