    1. Have you installed Microsoft 365 apps or other Office before on this computer?
      Or was there an Office product pre-installed on this computer?
      If yes, please make sure you uninstalled it completely first.
    2. How did you install this Office Professional Plus 2016?
      Besides, did you enter MAK key to activate this Office?
      Generally, Office Professional Plus 2016 uses MSI installation technology, it means that there is no Update Options under Product Information, there is no update channel (Such as Current Channel) under About Word either.
    3. Please run the following command to check the activation information for Office. Then please share us with the command result for better analysis. Search CMD, right-click the Command Prompt and run as administrator. Then copy and paste the command, click Enter at last:
      cscript.exe "%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office16\ospp.vbs" /dstatus (If you are running 32-bit Office on a 64-bit operating system)
      cscript.exe "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Microsoft Office\Office16\ospp.vbs" /dstatus
