.sql.azuresynapse.net vs *.database.windows.net

I have two Azure synapse dedicated pool , one in .sql.azuresynapse.net and another one is in *.database.windows.net

what are the difference ? performance or other difference ?

    Thanks for your query.

    If the Synapse dedicated pool is created outside of Synapse Workspace [existing DW customers - formerly Azure SQL DW)] then it is - *.database.windows.net

    If it’s created from a Synapse Analytics Workspace then it is - .sql.azuresynapse.net

    Technically it's just a DNS cname record done for branding purposes: foo.sql.azuresynapse.net points to foo.database.windows.net. There should be no performance difference in actual client-server interaction.
