Hello. I was doing some activities on my PC when I opened explorer, and my PC bluescreened with stop code: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT. I dont exactly know what went wrong, since it happened when i opened explorer, but what i think happened is that my PC’s memory got overloaded for me using too many things, or keeping my PC on all the time, and then crashed cause it was an overload of memory. Id appreciate the help. Thanks!

Regards,

Carsen

    Hello CarsenTomko, welcome to the Microsoft community, my name is Bruno Leonel, an independent consultant and I would be happy to help you.

    I understand that a BSOD occurred with the MEMORY_MANAGEMENT error and I'm sorry for that.

    This problem may indicate the existence of a broader memory management problem. The error message mentioned in the "error: memory_management" section.

    If this is the first time you have started your computer after installing new hardware, remove it and restart your computer.

    Usually blue screen errors refer to drivers. I suggest you access the website of your equipment manufacturer and by model, download and install all the latest drivers such as video card, network card, USB, chipset, Bios, among others. You can also run the driver file in compatibility mode by right clicking on it.

    Then disable all third-party programs, that is, a Clean Startup, to see if any of the programs installed on your computer may be causing this behavior.

    For clean boot follow the steps below:

    On the Desktop, simultaneously press the Windows + R keys to open Run;

    In Run type MSCONFIG and click OK to open the System Configuration;

    On the Services tab, check the option Hide all Microsoft services and click Disable All;

    Click Apply and OK;

    Restart the computer.

    NOTE: This procedure disables all third party services and programs. You can later, if the problem is solved in this way, selectively enable the programs and services that will start with Windows, instead of keeping all disabled. If the problem returns after activating the startup of a specific service or program, the problem is exactly in the startup of this software and it is recommended to remove it.

    I hope this helps, feel free to post again. We will be ready to help!
