Hi,

I have been trying to create a custom Windows 10 bootable image USB stick.

I have downloaded Windows 10 20H2 and I have our own personalised image file as a ".wim" file. This has our own settings and software installed. It is 13.2Gb in size.

Please could you advise on the step-by-step on how I can create the USB stick with my own .wim file

    Hi @Sat_77, sorry about that.

But this forum is intended for consumers (home users) and this is not something that this type of audience normally does. Anyway, I'm sending you a Microsoft article that might help you:

    [https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardwa...](https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/manufacture/desktop/capture-and-apply-windows-using-a-single-wim)

But if you still have questions about it, I ask that you please check this on the Technet Forum which is aimed at IT professionals and problems related to the corporate environment. Certainly someone in that community will be able to help you with your question:

Thanks for your time, have a great day and stay safe.

    Best Regards

Thanks, but I have already created that and copied to a USB stick. However, that only creates a standard Win10 image and not a custom one.

I can't see the option anywhere where I can insert my own .wim image file

You need to download the Installation Media Tool to create your bootable USB on this link. Click the "Download tool now" and follow the instructions below that button:
