Have Event Viewer Display Event Log Message in Tabular Format.

NOTE: THIS QUESTION IS REALLY A WINDOW SERVERS QUESTION - NO SUCH WINDOWS VERSION CATEGORY WAS LISTED

Dear Sir or Madam:

The Event Viewer allows one to Add/Remove Columns (e.g., Date and Time, Source, Event ID, Task Category, etc.).  But there is no way to display the actual Event Log message.

Similarly, one can also Create Custom View, wherein one can query by Logged, Event Level, By Log/Event Logs or By Source/Event Sources, Event ID, Task Category, Keywords, User and/or Computer(s).  But again, there is no way to display the actual Event Log message.

I would like the Event Viewer to allow one to display the actual Event Log message along with the corresponding information (e.g., Date and Time, Source, Event ID, Task Category, etc.) in a tabular format.

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand your query related to viewing Event Viewer logs in tabular format.

Currently, the feature to view Event Viewer logs in tabular format is not available. I understand your requirements as this can be important for you. I would encourage you to provide a feedback using the Feedback Hub app on Windows 10, so that our engineering team can look into this for you.
