Is this a Desktop PC? If so there should be on the back a Keyboard port. This looks like a USB but it is not and it should be labeled.
USB keyboard not working after update
I have read through several threads. My problem with all of them is my KEYBOARD DOESEN’T WORK!!!!! I cannot log into my computer because MY KEYBOARD DOESN’T WORK!!!!! Any suggestions. I have unplugged all usb devices and ensured my ports work with a wireless mouse. Rebooted with devices plugged in and not plugged in. I may have to purchase a wireless combo and see if that works.
Thanks for any suggestions the do not require me to log into by computer because you guessed it, my keyboard doesn’t work.
Thanks,
Ken

-Okay, I understand you, let's solve it as follows, first, you can enter your system without the keyboard, only with the mouse, on the login screen, in the lower right story, there is a field for easy access, find the keyboard so you can type using the mouse on the virtual keyboard.
Now, check the port the keyboard is connected to, remove from one port and connect to another, see if it works again.
If not, right click on Start, settings, update and security, troubleshooting, additional troubleshooting, keyboard, perform solution.
If it still doesn't solve the problem, let's reinstall the keyboard drivers, right click on Start, device manager, expand Keyboards, right click on drivers, Uninstall, restart the PC, now, right click on Start, settings, update and security, check for updates.
I hope it resolves, if the problem persists, you need to test with another keyboard to find out if your current keyboard is defective.
If the answer helped in any way, consider leaving your opinion, marking it as answered or leaving more details, so that we can continue the service, this is very important for us.
Sincerely,
Claudeir

2021-05-25T01:08:02+00:00 Claudeir,
Thanks for the help. I was able to get in my computer with the virtual keyboard. I purchased new keyboard and neither work. Under device manager with both plugged in both say drivers are not installed. If. I uninstall them and replug them in it says setting up device . Then says ready to go but the still don’t work. If you double click either it says drivers not installed with a code 28. If you attempt to update and choose search automatically it does not find them. Logitech website says no downloads for the keyboard. Again thanks for the help.
