    Yes, Java and Oracle are perfectly safe, they are usually installed automatically when you install software that is programmed in Java and so, the runtime needs to be installed.

    I have Minecraft Java edition so I'm assuming that is why I have it, I was wondering because I'm still a bit paranoid about my apps right now since on the 16th I had PUP's. But thanks!
