When do you plan to make the function getPrecedents() available in production officejs?

Our addin cannot be deployed without the function getPrecedents() and we would like to requests its availability in production.

Is it something you plan to do shortly?

    Hi, Thanks for your question,

    range.getPrecedents() and range.getDirectPrecedents() APIs are now in preview.

    We target to release range.getDirectPrecedents() API this summer together with SAC, if there is no major bug found.

    Therefore, I would suggest leveraging range.getDirectPrecedents(), and travel next level when needed.
