- Are you aware of any recent changes on the PC prior to this issue?
Meanwhile, I would like to suggest that you perform the methods below and check if the issue persists:
Method 1: Edit Component Services
- Press Windows + R keys to open Run command, type dcomcnfg and tap OK to open Component Services
- In the console tree, click the Computers folder, right-click the computer for which you want to enable or disable DCOM, and then click Properties.
- Click the Default Properties tab.
- Make sure that Enable Distributed COM on this computer is checked
- Click Apply then go to COM Security tab at the top
- Click on Edit Default for Access Permissions and Launch and Activation Permissions. Make sure the following accounts exits with Allow Access permissions.
- Anonymous
- Everyone
- Guests
- Interactive
- Network
- System
- Click on OK to save and restart the PC
Method 2: New User Account
I would also suggest you to create a new user account with administrative rights and check if the issue persists. Creating a new user account will not remove any data, app or settings from your current user account, this is just a troubleshooting steps to eliminate the possibility of user profile corruption.
