Hi everyone, I'm using Windows 11 Home and I want to remove "Simatic Shell Folder". I already deleted "Simatic Shell" in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace by Registry Editor. But it can't be removed. Please help me! Thank for your reading.

    Hi Kiet Tran98,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    Close File Explorer.

    1

Open the old Control Panel, not the new Settings App

At the top of Control Panel, set View to icons

    Open Devices and Printers

Right click your PC and choose Properties

On the resulting dialog, select the Hardware tab

Find each of the simatic devices (there should be more than one), click Properties and delete the driver.

Then check if that folder is gone

    2

If the folder is not gone

    Open the Registry Editor

In the left pane, select 'Computer' at the top of the tree

    Click Edit - Find

    Search for simatic shell

For each key or entry found, right click and delete it

Then pressF3 to continue the search and repeat, deleting any found entry until you reach the end of the registry.

    Hi KietTran98,

I think now the best option would be to reinstall Simatic Shell, then restart your PC and then uninstall it again.
