for the merged rescache folder. I have codes {Numbers} Why is it ? (Not only for this folder but others as well) That it ask me on how to open the File. Like I know. If the files are indexed should it already know what to open it with!!! I feel likes its a #%$^@#?: Test or something. Hell Microsoft/Windows made The Folder so why would the program ask me what app. To open it with? So if I pick one it says it can't run on my PC . Im like what the hell because you gave me the option so it can be declined. My personal opinion is "This is why Windows is difficult for any consumer that its just starting FRESH. Can someone give me some insight on how to open the merged folder

Hello Brian. My name is David. Thankyou for replying. Its a story I would love to discuss with you one day. There wasn't an error message. The question was about what is a res cache and was wondering of what type of codes I was getting for each file in the res cache. All files in the cache were Numbered with no inf. I believe I found what it means in the registry. But to be hones That **** is starting to piss me off as well. One day a folder or file would be there and the next day some ones done changed it up and i cant find the file. Anyways I gave up App X to Microsoft/Windows . I'm very frustrated about Pay Day. I'm looking, but don't know whom to go to without feeling or looking like an idiot. The registry suggest that its there , but not sure what to do or where to go. Do you want to help. If I have something coming then I,ll pay for your time. This is the first time and the first person I ever asked.. i hope I get past the idiot stage. Thankyou

Hi. I'm Brian and I will do my best to help you.

What folder are you trying to open and what is the complete, unedited text of the error message? Opening folders shouldn't ask what app to use to open it.
