For a little while now, some games on my pc haven't been started on steam. I found that it was download on my Local Drive (E:) but I cant access my E drive anymore. If there is any chance that I can get directions on how to get into this drive, that would be a great help.

Picture of what happens when I double click the drive:

    1. Try to boot windows into safe mode and try to access it.

    or

    1. uninstall steam client and try to access it.

Good day! I'm Raniel, a Microsoft user like you. I understand your frustration regarding this issue and I'll do my best to help.

Just to clarify, do you also encounter the issue when you access your account via safe mode?. Please see the steps under "From the sign-in screen": https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/sta...

Once in safe mode, see if you'll be able to take ownership of the E: drive, then try again. Kindly refer to the steps on this article as a guide: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-take-ownersh...

You may also enable the "built-in" administrator account to isolate the issue:

    1. On your search bar, type command prompt and select "run as administrator"
    2. On the command prompt window, type net user administrator /active:yes and press Enter
    3. Reboot your machine, then login to your admin account, and check if you'll encounter the same issue.

If that didn't work, I suggest that you perform the additional methods on this article as well: https://windowsreport.com/windows-cannot-access...

I hope this helps. Good luck!
