Bluetooth Mouse Stuck to Taskbar

Hi all,
So I have a Logitech M510 Bluetooth mouse. I'm on Windows 10. Essentially, every 5-10 minutes, my mouse will get stuck to the exact same position on the taskbar and won't be able to move. However, it will randomly move on its own in a very glitchy, snappy manner. I tried my best to capture this, but I had no recording software, so snipping was the best I could do. I also can still click, but it will only ever select the icon that is currently on that spot on the taskbar. The mouse changes to a small circle.

I will always try unplugging the mouse, reinstalling the drivers, etc., but even restarting Windows fails to get rid of the issue. It happens regardless of what I'm doing, as it will snap to that location without me even using the mouse. The touchpad and touchscreen on my laptop are both disabled, and it will continue to happen even after I unplug the mouse or turn it off.

It will sometimes go away if I let it sit for a minute or so, but it will usually persist indefinitely.

I've run sfc /scannow, reinstalled the drivers, disabled and reenabled through Device Manager, updated Windows all the way to just before Windows 11, and none of them have been permanent fixes to this issue. My system is clean with only a handful of apps.

Hello, I’m Virginia, I have 20 years of expertise in fixing my own & friends’ PC problems.
Sorry to hear you’re experiencing problems. May I ask which Windows 10 build are you running - 2004, 20H2, 21H1 or 21H2?

    Have you tried new batteries?
    Have you updated the firmware?
Are you using the unifying receiver & software?
    Is Logitech Options installed?
