my intel graphics driver stopped working, the display doesnt work, and the computer has started crashing, freezing and unable to handle any game or mid heavy program. sometimes it even crashes from using only chrome or even creating a word document.

and everytime i try update it says error code 43. and it stopped showing which intel graphics i have. this laptop is about 5 months old at max. this laptop is a Predator-PH18-72, with an intel core i9 processor(14gen), a 4080 and 32 ram. and not being able to use the 2k 18" screen is very stressful to say the least.

i have tried updating, and redownloading from both sites. but whenever i try update or install it just tells me an error or tells me the driver is up to date. i can disable it, but it re--enables itself with the yellow caution triangle at the top. and i have been using the laptop with an external monitor using the NVidia graphics. but for some reason the intel driver still makes the laptop freeze up. whenever there is a new windows update, and i install. it freezes, crashes or turns off. and when i power it back on it tells me there was an error updating my pc. and that it is reverting back. so now it doesnt even let me update windows itself

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

The best first option is to go to the support page for your laptop on the Acer website, to download and install the version of Intel graphics drivers they provide, that will be the most compatible version of those drivers.

If that does not resolve the problem, go to the Intel website to download the Intel Driver and Support Assistant, then use that utility to update all your Intel drivers.

If that does not resolve the problem, are you able to disable the Intel integrated graphics and just use the dedicated Nvidia graphics on your laptop?
