Hello

I have disabled translucent selection rectangle in visual effects in windows 11, but it is working only on desktop.

Isn't it supposed to disable the translucent selection both in File Explorer and on the Desktop?

Is it a bug?

Is there any way to fix it?

Hello hosseinfarnia, I hope you are having a good day!

This has mostly been suffered by many users, and we have come to the conclusion that it is an inconsistency with Windows 11 since when you disable it, it only takes effect on the desktop and not in the file explorer or any other area. Unfortunately, so far there is no official solution or patch that allows the change in the explorer or any other area. What I can recommend is that you report this behavior by giving feedback so that Microsoft takes it into account and, with enough evaluations, they can adjust it and make an update in the future addressing this issue. Please press Windows + f, and the help center will open where you can outline the problem in detail. Regards, and I apologize if this wasn't the answer you were expecting.
