Why Microsoft is not sending me a verification code

Question

It says we sent u but they dont

So i have had this laptop for 4 years and i fixed it bcz it was broken but the password dosent work . And i thought i knew the password exactly but when i type it it dosent work and it says you are not connected to the Internet

Although i tried wifi and it connects and i tried ethernet and it connects. but it still says the same problem. That i am not connected to the internet

I would be super grateful for any help thank you all

And i know the verification email to the Microsoft account but i dont know if its the main email or its just for confirmation
