I just freshly installed windows on my Asus Vivobook S530FA. From Windows update, every driver was automatically updated. But after rebooting, it shows “there's no audio device installed”. I manually installed audio driver from manufacturer's website and intel's website and rebooted, but still “there's no audio device installed”. Even troubleshooter shows the same error message.

Yeah, sound is ok now, however as soon as I rebooted the laptop, i am seeing no wifi, as if the laptop doesn't have wifi.

But I've been using my laptop for almost 6 years, with wifi.

Troubleshooter says Ethernet cable isn't plugged in, but the laptop doesn't have a Ethernet port.

Also no pending driver updates, I manually installed wifi drivers again, but still no wifi.

Have you tried updating all the drivers, not just the audio driver, from the MyASUS app?

After checking, your audio driver is Realtek. Please click the link below, scroll down to the audio driver section, then click 'Show all.' Find the first Realtek audio driver listed at the top, download and install it, and restart your computer.

In the MyAsus app, after running system diagnosis, it shows there's a driver error with audio, but when i proceed to system updates tab, there's no audio updates showing, only Bluetooth update which I installed earlier.

Now doing 'Fix problems using Windows Update.' I'll let you know if that works.

Hi, I'm Estrella. I'll do my best to help you.

I understand that you're experiencing an audio issue after a Windows update and have already tried installing the driver from the ASUS website without success.

Let me share what worked for me before:

    ● Open the MyASUS app, navigate to the System Diagnostics tab, and run all system checks.

Then, go to the System Update tab and install all audio updates, restart your computer then check.

    ● If that fails, the next step is to try System Recovery without deleting your files and apps.

Click the Start menu > Settings > System > Recovery.

Choose Reinstall Now under the section labeled 'Fix problems using Windows Update.'

Once completed, your system will restart. Please check afterward.
