Why am I not receiving Microsoft verification code when signing in?

Question

Hello,

I tried to sign in to my outlook account through outlook app and it showed "Sign in

We'll send a code to ******@outlook.com to sign you in.." then I clicked next and I've waited to get code over email and tried multiple times but not received one.

Not sure what is causing it, but I'm not getting other options to Sign in.

You can Try to sign in and see if it gives other verification options (e.g., phone, backup email, Authenticator app). Just Go here: https://account.live.com

Also Check your Spam/Junk folder

I tried the provided links, but no luck. Even I added my phone number again, but still I'm not getting code(s) on my outlook account. Also, not getting any other options to get a code.

Try Recover Your Microsoft Account

Go to: https://account.live.com/acsr

Enter your account info (email, phone, or Skype)

Provide a contact email

Fill out the form with as much detail as you can

Submit and wait for Microsoft to respond (usually within 24-48 hours)
