Hello

Gigabyte G5 KF stuck in boot loop after the latest windows update.

I turned off my laptop regulary last night, then I went to work overtime today and when I got home and wanted to turn it on it just shows the Gigabyte logo. Multiple people reported the same thing on Reddit as well. We need a solution right now.

    Hi,

It seems that you have marked my response as 'No'.

    1. Could you please elaborate on the issue?

Are you having trouble booting your device from the USB installation media or accessing the Recovery Environment screen?

    1. Is your screen still stuck at the Gigabyte logo?

It appears that this issue has been reported on Reddit, where users have experienced the same problem with their devices. This may have occurred due to the latest updates interfering with Secure Boot, which could be preventing your system from booting properly.

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community and I'll be glad to assist you today.

Several users have reported issues with the Gigabyte G5 KF5, specifically that it gets stuck on the startup screen after the latest Windows updates last day.

To troubleshoot this, first, try resetting your BIOS to its default settings and see if that allows your device to boot into the operating system properly. Next, check your Boot Priority list to ensure that "Windows Boot Manager" or your internal drive is set as the first option.

If you are still experiencing problems, you can try booting your PC into the Windows Recovery Environment to see if that helps.

    1. Start your device and wait for the Windows logo (or the manufacturer's logo) to appear.
    2. As soon as the Windows logo appears, press and hold the power button until the device shuts down.
    3. Turn your device on again and repeat step 2.
    4. Turn your device on a third time. Windows should display the Automatic Repair screen.
    5. Select Advanced options.

If you are still experiencing issues, you can try creating a USB Bootable installation media from a different PC and use the media to uninstall the updates or do a system restore.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

    • Plug in the USB installation media.

    • Boot your device from the USB drive.

    • Select Repair your computer option instead of Install Windows.

    • Your device will boot into the recovery environment.

    • Select System restore or uninstall updates.

Let me know if you still need more help.
