Error Code 43 - Intel Visual Sensing Controller Device

Since the most recent Microsoft update a week ago, my integrated camera will not work. I have gone through all the troubleshooting suggestions. The issue seems to be the Intel Visual Sensing Controller Device, which shows Error Code 43. The driver is updated. When I disable and reenable the device, it seems okay for a few minutes, but then says, "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems." I have uninstalled and reinstalled it. I even reran the Microsoft update to no avail. Help is appreciated.

    I understand the issue you have, there is nothing to worry I am here to assist. The Error Code 43 means that the hardware is not detected. This issue occurs when the driver is not compatible. In this case, kindly follow the steps below:

    Roll back Camera Driver:

    -Press the Windows key + X

    -Go to Device Manager

    -Expand the Camera or Imaging Device

    -Look for the Camera driver that was installed

    -Right-click and click "Update Driver"

    -Look for "Browse my computer for driver"

    -Click "Let me pick drivers available drivers on my computer"

    -Choose an old driver or another driver name of driver then select it and hit next until it installs.

    Note: If the issue persists, please download and install a camera driver from your manufacturer's website, or please let me know the make and model of your device so that I can help you provide the link to download it.

    Additional note: If all fails, a system restore might be necessary.
