I've followed many forums and have taken those troubleshooting steps, but no luck. I'm hoping someone can help me directly. I have Windows 11.

Please run this fixlist. It sources the system modules from my GitHub page.

Note: If Microsoft Edge or Chrome mislabels the Farbar Scanner executable as PUA/malware, choose to keep it by tapping … in the bottom bar, choosing Keep, and then choosing Keep anyway in the dialog that appears.

See this screenshot:https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/media/microsoft-edge-security-download-interruptions/dowload-was-blocked.png. It's a safe tool used in most antimalware forums.

Hi, I'm Estrella. I'll do my best to help you.

Let's check some additional information to help resolve the issue:

Please share a screenshot of that window.

    1. Go to Settings > System > Windows Update.

Take a screenshot and share it here. Do not include your email.

    1. Could you list the troubleshooting steps you've tried to avoid repeating them?

I'd honestly just prefer doing everything in order incase I missed something, so I don't mind repeating some troubleshooting steps.

Thanks for your reply. If you have third-party antivirus software installed on your computer, please temporarily uninstall it to avoid conflicts, and then attempt the steps below:

    >>Execute the Windows Update troubleshooter:

Navigate to Start > Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters > Windows Update, then click Run.

    >>Start the Windows Installer Service

Press Windows + R, type services.msc and hit OK.

    Look for Windows Installer service.

    Right-click it and hit Start/Restart.

Do the same for the Windows Update Service and Background Intelligent Transfer Service.

    Restart your computer then check.

    >>Reset Windows Components

In your search bar type CMD and right-click it, select run as administrator

Copy and paste each of the commands below then Enter:

    net stop wuauserv

    net stop cryptSvc

    net stop bits

    net stop msiserver

    Ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old

    Ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old

    net start wuauserv

    net start cryptSvc

    net start bits

    net start msiserver

Restart your PC once done and then try again.

    >>Run SFC and DISM

Restart your PC then check again.

    >>If the issue persists, please try performing an in-place upgrade. This will update your computer to the latest version and fix any problems without losing your files. During the upgrade process, make sure to select the option to 'Keep personal files and apps.'

    >>Execute the Windows Update troubleshooter:

    This step was unsuccessful

    >>Start the Windows Installer Service

    This step was unsuccessful

    >>Reset Windows Components

    Ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
    Ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old

The 2 above commands say they don't exist in the screenshot below
