Here are some proven steps that have helped many users fix this issue:
- Bluetooth Driver Uninstall
- Device Manager opens when you right-click Start.
- Expand Bluetooth and uninstall the error-causing device.
- Check “Delete the driver software for this device” if asked.
- Allow Windows to reinstall a clean driver by restarting.
- Install Manufacturer's Latest Driver
- Visit your motherboard or device manufacturer's website.
- Download the latest Bluetooth driver from your model's support page.
- Restart your PC after installing.
- Fix the Registry (only if UpperFilters or LowerFilters exist)
- Run regedit (Windows key + R) to open Registry Editor.
- Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class{e0cbf06c-cd8b-4647-bb8a-263b43f0f974}.
- Right-click and delete UpperFilters and LowerFilters entries.
- Restart your device after.
- Use Bluetooth Troubleshooter.
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > More troubleshooters.
- Apply fixes by selecting Bluetooth and following prompts.
- Bluetooth Services Should Run
- Enter services.msc. Run/Enter.
- Set the following services to “Automatic” and start them if necessary: Support for Bluetooth Service Bluetooth Audio Gateway Support for Bluetooth users
- Check System Files
- Open Command Prompt as administrator and type sfc/scannow.
- Restart your PC after the scan.
- Clean Your Boot
- Disable third-party services and startup programs with msconfig.
- Check for software conflicts by restarting your PC.
