Hello,

I am on Windows 11, since yesterday I have been getting this strange debug message that is named "icu_util.cc(223) Invalid file descriptor to ICU data received."

I am unsure what this means, I searched online and it is giving me all sorts of answers that I have no clue, I did reset my PC and have reinstalled everything but I am unsure if this worked or not.

I do not have any other information as this was the only thing that pops up and I have no clue what it means in the slightest and if you have a solution on how to fix this that would be great!

Thanks.

Thank you for the screenshot, if you go into that startup folder and delete that log file, then restart your PC, is that file automatically being generated again?

Provided below is another screenshot of the directory, not sure what the main cause of it, this just pops up on my notepad and every launch I do as of yesterday brings it up. AFAIK this is just text in a log file that I see but I can also access it here.

Thank you for the screenshot, is that text just in a log file you are finding on your PC and if so, where on your PC is that log file being generated?

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

That error is not usually a Windows system error, it is usually generated by software installed on your PC, and usually that is a Chromium based browser that may be generating the error.

Please provide a screenshot of that popup error you are seeing.
